USPS mail will still be delivered as usual on Christmas Eve, and the holiday will not affect hours, according to Newsweek. USPS Blue Collection Boxes will be affected by the federal holiday, and all mail will be collected by noon. Post office hours will vary by location, so check with your local post office. There will be no postal service or open offices on Christmas Day.
Amazon’s website explains that items will not arrive by Christmas Day beyond purchases made Dec. 22. However, the service still is delivering Dec. 24.
If you placed your order after the “order by” window on Dec. 23 or if it was ordered without Prime, it is not likely that it will be delivered to its intended destination in time for Christmas.
