"Breaking news!!" Waffle House tweeted on Tuesday, announcing it had just served its 1 billionth waffle.

The Norcross-based chain at the center of metro Atlanta culture (and stomachs) served the milestone meal at 10:04 a.m., the restaurant said.

The lucky patron — Shanneil McCollum of Miami, according to 11 Alive — received a plaque in commemoration from the downtown location.

McCollum also received balloons and a riotous round of applause from employees, according to 11 Alive.

"It feels good, it was very unexpected," she told the station. "I didn't know everyone was going to come with cameras and everything, but I enjoyed itand I can't wait to eat it."

One Twitter follower was skeptical about the celebration, tweeting back, "I don't see a waffle. I also question how you knew which restaurant to have the plaque ready at."

WaHo responded: "It's waffle magic."
