Celebrities. They’re just like us.

As millions headed to the polls Tuesday in a historic, hotly contested election for president, some of the nation and the world’s top entertainers also took their influence and civic duty to heart by showing up to cast their ballots.

In recent days, several music stars, actors and others have announced their choices of either President Donald Trump or Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Though more than 100 million people early voted, Election Day proved that among the everyday people and famous ones, there were still some last-minute decisions to be made.

Below, you’ll find where some celebrities put their support on Election Day:

Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi, a native of one of the most sought-after electoral states, Ohio, made his support known for Biden on Tuesday. The rapper posted a picture of himself and the caption “Vote for Biden if you a real one.” He received praise and disdain from his fans for it.

Taylor Swift

Pop star Taylor Swift encouraged folks to be safe by wearing a mask on Election Day and reminded folks to “take care of themselves.” Her video posted on Twitter ended with an image of Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

Isaiah Washington

Isaiah Washington, the actor known for his role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” posted his support for Trump on his Instagram, recently stating that those who desire “freedom” should vote for him.

Beyoncé

Musical star and fashion designer Beyoncé also chose Instagram as her platform to support her presidential pick, which appears to be Biden. The Houston native also encouraged Texans to get out the vote on Election Day.

Lil Pump

Last week, Lil Pump made headlines when he threw his support behind Trump, dismissing plans by Democrats that would raise taxes for the wealthy. On Tuesday, he retweeted footage of himself stating why he endorsed the president. He said he supports the president because he is a “good man” and he “says whatever’s on his mind.”

Tracy Chapman

Legendary singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman did not explicitly say who she’d plan to vote for, but she did retweet her performance “Talkin' Bout a Revolution” from Monday night’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday with the caption “Go Vote.”

Selena Gomez

The former Disney star said in an Instagram story Tuesday that she was voting for the first time. The 28-year-old had encouraged people in her home state of Texas to vote in person if they had not voted yet.

“So many people think that it doesn’t matter, but other elections have been this close before,” Gomez added. “So you have to understand that your voice does matter and it’s so important.”
