Visitation held for longtime WSB traffic reporter, Capt. Herb Emory

The public is invited to attend a celebration of Capt. Herb's life on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in east Cobb.

A Wednesday morning motorist paid tribute to the late Capt. Herb Emory, who died April 12.

A visitation for longtime WSB radio and television traffic reporter Herb Emory was held on Tuesday at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. A private funeral will be Wednesday. The public is invited to attend a celebration of Capt. Herb's life on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in east Cobb. Emory died on April 12 of a heart attack he suffered while assisting at a wreck site near his Douglas County home.
