March 9, 2015 East Point: Friends and family reach to comfort Chevelle Green during a vigil for Fulton County Police Det. Terence Green in East Point on Monday evening, March 9, 2015. The veteran Fulton County police detective was on duty early March 4 when he was killed in what police officials called an ambush-style attack. He was 48. Amanuel Menghesha, 42, of Fairburn, has been charged with murder and aggravated assault. Menghesha allegedly shot Detective Green in the back of the head as several officers responded to a report of shots being fired, according to police. BEN GRAY / BGRAY@AJC.COM
