Nov 6, 2014DeKalb County honored veterans during an event this week that included military speakers, workshops, panel discussions and resource information.
The 13th annual Veterans Day Program on Wednesday featured remarks from James Blaylock, president of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Foundation, and Ret. Maj. Gen. Marcelite Harris, the first black female general of the U.S. Air Force.
The national Veterans Day holiday is on Tuesday.
