A Gwinnett County police discovered two people with gunshot wounds Friday night after and officer heard shots while on a traffic stop.
The officer was conducting a traffic stop on Satellite Boulevard near Duluth around 8 p.m. and heard several gunshots coming from nearby apartments, police said.
Officers quickly checked the apartments and found a man and a woman in a vehicle at the Preston Park Apartments, police said. Both had gunshot wounds to the legs.
Both of the wounded were transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment, police said. Their names and conditions have not been released.
Police said Saturday eveningt that no arrests had been made.
