Dunwoody police have arrested two teenagers who allegedly robbed three taxi drivers last week at an apartment complex.

Police charged Jamie Leonardo Trevino, 17, and a juvenile whose name was not released because of his age, and charged each with three counts of armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a pistol under the age of 21.

Dunwoody police spokesman Officer Tim Fecht said that between Dec. 14 and Dec. 16, the two suspects committed three armed robberies of cab drivers by calling for their services and robbing the drivers as they arrived at Peachtree Place North Apartments.

The suspects targeted Hispanic taxi companies, Fecht said.

“During the crimes, the suspects assaulted a pregnant female driver and fired a bullet at another driver,” Fecht said. “Fortunately, no injuries were reported.”
