Two shot, one critical near Mechanicsville

Atlanta police were investigating a double shooting near Mechanicsville on Thursday afternoon.

Department spokesman Officer Ralph Woolfolk said the shooting occurred at 570 Glenn St. SW. One male was shot in the head and believed to be in critical condition, Woolfolk said, while another male was shot in the leg.

No further information was immediately available.
