Two men found shot to death Monday afternoon inside a Coweta County house may have been killed hours earlier, the sheriff’s office said.
The victims were identified as 26-year-old Wesley Watson and 20-year-old Alen Michel Cantrell, the coroner’s office told Channel 2 Action News.
The men were found inside a home in the 300 block of Widgeon Drive, near Newnan. The house is located in the Beverly Parks subdivision off Millard Farmer Road.
No information was released on a possible motive or suspect. The case remains under investigation, said Lt. Col. James Yarbrough of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
The GBI is also taking part in the investigation.
