TUESDAY’S WEATHER | ‘Beautiful weather all the way through the day’

The chilly morning and warm afternoon trend is continuing in metro Atlanta on Tuesday.
The crisp morning air will warm up as the sun rises, reaching the low 70s by this afternoon.
“We’re going to have beautiful weather all the way through the day,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said. "
This warming weather pattern has settled across the region and will stick around at least through the end of the month, putting temperatures well above average by the weekend. The average high for this time of year is about 72 degrees. By Saturday, we should be seeing highs in the 80s.
There’s no rain in sight, either. The next chance of rain might come on Thursday, but “it is a very small chance,” Monahan said.
“It’ll add a few more clouds around, just a slight chance for a sprinkle. That’ll be it, basically, through the rest of the month,” he said.
