Ten students are facing disciplinary action after a batch of marijuana-laced brownies ended up at Dacula High School, school officials said.

An 11th grader allegedly brought the treats to school and gave them to nine other students Feb. 20, Jorge Quintana, spokesman for Gwinnett County schools, said Tuesday. The names of the students involved were not released.

It wasn’t clear if the students ate the pot brownies, Quintana said. But all of the students knew about the secret ingredient in the brownies when they got them, he said.

No criminal charges were filed. But the students involved will have to attend an administrative hearing, where they’ll learn their punishment, Quintana said.
