A nine-vehicle crash closed all lanes Sunday afternoon on I-20 west and caused several injuries.
All lanes reopened just after 5 p.m., according to Channel 2 Action News.
The accident started when the driver of a van tried to cross from the left lane to the emergency lane after getting a flat tire. It caused a chain-reaction crash, leaving at least one vehicle overturned and several others rear-ended and sideswiped, Channel 2 reported.
Six people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident at the Salem Road exit, which is number 84, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.
