An accident on Ga. 400 had all lanes shut down just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Sandy Springs police spokeswoman Sgt. Forrest Bohannon said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Several vehicles were involved in the crash along Ga. 400 northbound near the North Springs MARTA Station.
At least one sedan hit the inside wall of Ga. 400 northbound head on and a pickup truck rear-ended another pickup truck.
Lanes reopened again by 4:45 p.m., but traffic remained backed up until after 5 p.m.
