Georgia State Patrol officers found three kilograms of cocaine in a car abandoned by its driver after a pursuit that ended in a three-car crash, the GSP said.

Injuries were reported in the incident Thursday on I-285 West past Ga. 400.

The driver ran from the scene, across I-285 East, and escaped, the GSP said.

An investigation is ongoing.
