A Georgia State University motorcycle officer was injured in a crash Friday morning in Atlanta, according to the university.

He was hit by a car at Fulton and Pryor streets about 11:15 a.m. and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for evaluation, Georgia State spokeswoman Andrea Jones said.

“He is in stable condition,” she said.

No other details were released.
