Traffic was delayed at midday Tuesday in an area of south Fulton County because of a two-car crash, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

About 8:30 a.m., a 1999 Ford Escort was making a left turn out of a gas station onto Roosevelt Highway at Ga. 138 in Fairburn, the Georgia State Patrol said. A 2005 Toyota Sequoia struck the Ford on the driver’s side.

The driver of the Escort was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, the GSP said.
