4-year-old ejected in I-75 crash in Cobb; injuries minor

A child was ejected in a rollover crash on I-75 North in Cobb County.
A 4-year-old was ejected from an SUV but suffered only minor injuries in a rollover crash on I-75 North after a tire blew out, according to Channel 2 Action News.
After the crash near the Allgood Road overpass Friday morning, the child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the news station reported.

The child has been checked out and will be fine, sustaining only bruises and stitches, Marietta police spokesman Charles McPhilamy said later Friday.
The mother, who was driving, has been cited for a child safety seat violation, he said.
