All lanes are open on I-85 southbound near Ga. 74 after a dump truck hauling dirt blew out a tire and the driver lost control trying to keep the vehicle upright, officials said.

Delays were stretched back to I-285 for nearly two hours as crews worked to turn the truck upright and clear the dirt, according to the WSB 24-Hour Traffic Center.

Drivers were urged to use U.S. 29 as an alternate and were cautioned against illegally blocking the shoulder lane.

No injuries were reported.
