MARTA trains are running on a normal schedule after three medical emergencies caused delays early Wednesday, an agency spokeswoman said.

The incidents occurred at three stations over the course of 68 minutes, Stephany Fisher told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The first emergency was reported about 7:23 a.m. at the Lindbergh station. About 48 minutes later, there was another incident at the Midtown station. The last emergency occurred at 8:31 a.m. at the Arts Center station, Fisher said.

The red and gold lines were temporarily affected.

“The longest delay caused by the emergencies (was) northbound out of the airport station at around 25 minutes,” Fisher said.

Service was restored just before 10:45 a.m.

Paramedics took the victims to local hospitals. Their conditions and the causes of the medical incidents are unknown.
