Pileup causes heavy delays in Gwinnett County

Nearly two hours after a multicar pileup on Ga. 316 in Gwinnett County, westbound lanes have reopened.

No one was injured in the wreck, which occurred just after 6 a.m. Friday near Sugarloaf Parkway, Gwinnett police said.

However, the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center reported heavy delays and trip times as long as 46 minutes before authorities cleared the crash scene just before 8 a.m.
