All lanes of Ga. 316 have reopened after an accident at Kilcrease Road involving hazardous material.

Capt. Scott Dakin of Barrow County Emergency Services said a truck involved in the accident was carrying pool cleaning supplies and other chemicals. A hazmat crew began cleanup at about 11 a.m.

The Barrow Police Department and safety crews had been on site diverting traffic in the area for most of the morning.
