Todd Love, wounded Marine, comes home
1/8
Marine Corporal Todd Love checks out the sofa in his new home Monday June 30, 2014. Love lost both legs and his left arm to an IED blast in 2010 while on patrol in Afghanistan. Home Depot and other corporate sponsors, in conjunction with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation, built the home as part of the Building for America's Bravest program. The 3700 feet 4 bed 3 bath "smart home" features an open floor plan, automatic toilets, oversize shower with roll in access, motorized doors, drop down kitchen cabinets that make it easier for Love to reach stored items, a cook top that lowers and a complete security system just to name a few features that will make it easier for Love to take care of his needs. Most of the features of the home can be controlled from an ipad. BRANT SANDERLIN /BSANDERLIN@AJC.COM .
