2. WWE fires Hulk Hogan over racist rant caught on tape: The organization also completely scrubbed any mention of him from the WWE website, including the Hall of Fame page. This, after word was released that the National Enquirer has obtained a clip of Hogan going on a heavily racist rant, which they plan to make public very soon. 3. An alligator spotted strolling down New York streets has died: Animal control was called, and the alligator was captured without incident. The street where it was walking ends at a park along the Harlem River. The alligator could have come from there, or it may have been a pet let loose in the city. [Read more]

4. Louisiana theater shooter John Houser had Georgia ties: Years before John Russel Houser stood up in a crowded theater, pulled out a handgun and killed two people, his wife became so worried about his "volatile mental state," she asked for a temporary protective order against him in Carroll County.
