1. Boy killed, girl injured in pit bull attack on way to school. Logan Braatz and Syari Sanders, students at F.L. Stanton Elementary School, were walking to a bus stop in the 1200 block of Gideons Drive in southwest Atlanta when they were mauled, police and school officials said. [Read more]

2. New details released for Bishop Eddie Long memorial service. New details have been released for the funeral services of Bishop Eddie L. Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia. Long, 63, an influential and controversial pastor, died Sunday after battling an aggressive form of cancer. [Read more]
