4. SOME SPELMAN PARENTS BARRED FROM GRADUATION

Parents from as far away as California were unable to attend Sunday's commencement because doors were locked 30 minutes before the ceremony began. About 150 people were kept from enterting the ceremony, said one parent. Clark Atlanta University's graduation ceremony is being held Monday morning.

The AP reports that more than 85,000 veterans were treated last year for injuries or illnesses stemming from sex assault or harassment at work.

6. HEAVY RAINS WASH OUT ROADS

The waterlogged suburbs northeast of Atlanta will being to dry out today, but Sunday rain -- as much as 7 inches in some areas -- washed out roads and flooded creeks. In Flowery Branch, Cantrell Road is among those closed and residents are being asked to boil drinking water.

7. WINNING $590 MILLION POWERBALL TICKET SOLD IN FLORIDA

The $590.5 million winning ticket, which was bought in Zephyrhills, Fla., but hasn't been claimed, could pay for the small Florida city's budget 12 times over.

8. GENARLOW WILSON GRADUATES FROM MOREHOUSE

When 17, the Douglas County high school student was convicted of child molestation for consensual sex with a 15-year-old and ordered to serve 10 years in prison. The severity of the sentence sparked outrage and a reworked state law.  "I've done a lot on this road to redemption," Wilson said. "A lot of people said I would fail. I just want to do the right thing, to live my life the right way." President Obama spoke at the Morehouse commencemnt.

9. HOT AIR BALLOONS COLLIDE

The two balloons crashed in Turkey during a sightseeing tour of volcanic rock formations, killing a Brazilian tourist and injuring over 20.

10. TAYLOR SWIFT NABS 8 TROPHIES AT BILLBOARD AWARDS
