1.    Melania Trumps speech sounds familiar. When potential first lady Melania Trump stepped to the microphone at the Republican National Convention Monday night, some of her words may have seemed familiar. A portion of her speech was identical – and another portion nearly identical – to the address given by current first lady Michelle Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colo. 2.    Speed a factor in boat crash. Investigators believe that speed played a "major" role in the Friday afternoon boat crash that killed four people on Lake Lanier. The 38-foot power boat carrying two couples from Kentucky — Anthony and Tammy Reece and Arthur and Melissa McMahan — overturned near Lake Lanier's Cocktail Cove. The bodies of Melissa McMahan, 45, and Tammy Reece, 44, were recovered Saturday morning. Their husbands' bodies were found Sunday morning. [Read here]

3.    Braves lose 8-2 to Reds. The Reds got to Braves right-hander Matt Wisler for three home runs on the way to an 8-2 victory Monday. The Reds clubbed three homers in the fourth inning against Wisler to turn a one-run deficit into a 5-1 lead. [Read here]
