2. Boy suffers from heat stroke. A 12-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for a heat stroke he suffered from at football practice. Johnny Tolbert, 12, was doing conditioning drills at Welcome All Park last Thursday in South Fulton County about 7:30 p.m. when he passed out in 90-degree weather, Channel 2 Action News reported. 3. Rockies beat Braves 7-3. Carlos Gonzalez's mammoth three-run homer with none out in the sixth snapped a scoreless tie and sent the Rockies to a 7-3 win to open a four-game series. [Read here]
4. Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, partners unveil development project. Cathy and partners announced plans Thursday for a $700 million-plus mini-city within walking distance of Pinewood Atlanta Studios near Fayetteville.
