1. Garden honors Georgia Southern nursing students in I-16 crash
On Monday, the Georgia Southern University School of Nursing dedicated a memorial garden in honor of the seven nursing students killed or injured in the April crash on I-16 near Savannah. Seven crepe myrtles, one for each student, are surrounded by azaleas representing the nursing profession. Read more.

3. Drone owners must register for their craft, feds say
The federal government announced on Monday that drone owners would be required to register their aircraft. This announcement comes after reports of rogue robots flying too close to airliners. Read more.
4. Report: SunTrust cutting jobs, shifting work overseas
According to Computerworld, the company is laying off about 100 tech workers and moving work overseas. The employees, told in September of the cuts, are required as part of the severance agreement to offer help to SunTrust for the next couple years for no additional compensation. When The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reached out to the bank the past several weeks, the bank declined to comment. Read more.
5. Missing Georgia Tech student found alive, but bruised
With the help of technology and fellow Georgia Tech students, James Hubert was found after he disappeared after a Friday night party. The Georgia Tech senior was found Monday morning along railroad tracks near DeKalb Avenue and Arizona Street and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. His mother posted on Facebook that he had been beaten and was unconscious. Read more.
