Voters may be asked to approve a sales tax worth about $546 million to Atlanta schools in May. The Atlanta school district has about $764 million in work on its to-do list which includes school construction and renovation, technology upgrades, debt payments, new vehicles and more. Read more.
5. Blac Youngsta's story of bank incident disputed by bank and police
The rapper and Memphis native took to social media last week to relay what he intimated was a case of racial profiling by Atlanta police. Police detained him after they were given the identity descriptors of "a black male" and a particular vehicle. Police eventually realized he wasn't the right guy and let him and his friends go, but the rapper's social media account of the situation is catching the attention of many. Read more.
