5. DeKalb school officials: Transition plan ready for Ivy Prep students

After charter school Ivy Prep eliminated the upper grades, school officials are getting ready to ease the transition for the school's high school students. Ivy Prep's leaders said they decided to eliminate the high school grades based on their belief that the school did not have sufficient funding, staffing and space. It affects about 90 students. An offcial of the district said many students may be returning to the district if the parents decide. Read more.
