Q: How many cars will the North Springs MARTA station accommodate? Are there signs on southbound GA 400 before the MARTA exit that lets you know if the lot is full?

—Dan Cowles, Cumming

A: Currently at the North Springs park and ride lot there are about 2,300 parking spaces for MARTA patrons, Ben Limmer, MARTA's assistant general manager, told Q&A on the News.

A Georgia Department of Transportation banner on Ga. 400, located a half mile before the North Springs station exit, announces to drivers when the North Springs lot is full, he said.

Q: Do you have a list of which members of the Georgia delegation, if any, are members of the Freedom Caucus?

—Bob Womack, Canton

A: The Freedom Caucus is comprised of an estimated 40 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives. While the Freedom Caucus does not openly list its members, several members have identified themselves in media reports.

Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.) has a leadership role within the caucus, the AJC reported in March.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) in 2017 did not renew his membership with what the AJC previously described as a secretive group that is deeply conservative. He told the AJC it was due to to other responsibilities, such as joining the Republican Study Committee.

Hice and Loudermilk also were the only two members of the Georgia delegation included on a 2015 list of Freedom Caucus members published by the Pew Research Center.
