Q: There seems to be shakeup of anchors at CNN. Can you give the new lineup, including where has Carol Costello gone?

—Barbara F. Johnson, Conyers

A: Costello, who anchored "CNN Newsroom" from 9-11 a.m., is moving to Los Angeles and will join HLN, according to CNN. Her husband, Timothy Law Snyder, was named president of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2015, the AJC previously reported.

Here is new dayside lineup, which began Feb. 6, unless noted:

  • "Early Start" with Christine Romans and Dave Briggs, 4-6 a.m. (begins Feb. 23)
  • "New Day" with Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota, 6-9 a.m.
  • "CNN Newsroom" with John Berman and Poppy Harlow, 9-11 a.m.
  • "At This Hour" with Kate Bolduan: 11 a.m.-noon

The new “CNN Newsroom” anchors have been in other roles with the network. Berman has co-anchored “Early Start” for five years and “At This Hour” since 2015. Harlow became a CNN weekend anchor in 2015, according to CNN.

The rest of the daytime schedule, with John King, Wolf Blitzer, Brooke Baldwin and Jake Tapper, remains the same.

Q: Who pays for transportation when vouchers are used for education?

—Ruth Kail, Lilburn

A: The state's only voucher program currently is the special education voucher, Matt Cardoza, a Georgia Department of Education spokesman, told Q&A on the News in an email. In this program, transportation is not funded by the state, unless a private school provides transportation as part of the scholarship/voucher, he wrote.
