The Georgia Aquarium is in line for a big tax break.

The Georgia House voted 142-28 to approve a measure designed to give the downtown Atlanta aquarium a tax break on construction materials to be used for an upcoming expansion.

State Rep. Ben Harbin, who sponsored House Bill 238, said the expansion would create as many as 40 new jobs.

The measure now goes to the Senate.
