2 teens shot in southwest Atlanta

Two teenagers were shot in southwest Atlanta on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened in the area of Empire Boulevard at Oak Drive.

A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were wounded, police said. One was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, while the other was taken to Atlanta Medical Center.

Atlanta police have not yet released any additional information.
