The Brad Paisley concert was over, and two teenage fans leaving Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood didn’t want to wait for the long line leading to the ladies room. Instead, they told police they decided to head into woods behind a nearby gas station.
And that’s when they were approached by a man wearing khaki pants and a white polo, claiming to be a police officer, according to the incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He assaulted both teens, ages 16 and 17, before the two ran from him and found a real Atlanta police officer after the Sept. 15 concert.
Now, police are hoping a sketch of the suspect leads to his arrest.
The teens told police the man said he was an undercover officer before pushing them each against a wall and touching them through their clothes, the report states.
After ordering the two to the ground, he told them to take off their clothes, but neither did, according to police. Instead, they both ran to an officer and reported the man’s actions. Neither teen was injured and both were released to their parents.
The suspect is described as being between 35 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a scruffy, unshaven face, according to police.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 404-546-4260 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.
