Three teenage boys were shot outside Camp Creek Marketplace in southwest Atlanta on Saturday night, police said.

All three juveniles, 14 and 15 years old, were in stable condition and were alert when they were taken to the hospital, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Stephanie Brown said.

Their names and ages have not been released. Police did not say if anyone is facing charges in connection with the shooting.

A preliminary investigation suggests the incident stemmed “from a fight between a group of juveniles that occurred earlier,” Brown said.

A witness told Channel 2 Action News he heard about 20 shots ring out.

Police said the shooting happened near Carmia Drive about 8:15 p.m.

Camp Creek Marketplace is at the corner of I-285 and Camp Creek Parkway.
