Haley Adams was gunned down while standing in the doorway of her home in February.

Five suspected gang members charged with murder in the shooting of a 14-year-old girl during a Coweta County home invasion earlier this year have been indicted on even more charges, authorities said Friday.

The suspects — four men and a woman — were arrested in February, days after 14-year-old Haley Adams was gunned down while standing in the doorway of her home.

Adams found a place to hide Feb. 11 when four people stormed into her home on Bethehem Church Road and restrained her mother, authorities said. The group was looking for the owner of the home who was not there at the time, according to Coweta County Sheriff Lenn Wood.

Adams came out of hiding minutes after the four returned to their vehicle, the sheriff said. She was shot when she went to the front door holding a BB gun, though investigators said she never fired any pellets.

“One of the four offenders fired multiple rounds, striking Haley, which caused her paralysis then death,” deputies said.

The teen had moved in with her mother about a week before the deadly home invasion after moving from her grandparents’ home in Macon.

The suspects were identified as William “Billy” Tyree, 32; Kyle Conley, 36; Justin Ramsey, 20; Spencer Wix, 27; and Aubrie Brown, 26. Police said all five are members of the Ghost Face Gangsters, leading to additional indictments on gang charges as well as aggravated assault, home invasion, false imprisonment and weapons charges.

The Ghost Face Gangsters is one of the nearly 100 white supremacist prison gangs operating in the U.S., according to the Anti-Defamation League. The group originated in California in the 1970s, but a founding member started the Georgia group in 1998.

Tyree was not there during the teen’s shooting, but authorities said he was responsible for organizing the home invasion. Police still haven’t released a motive in the case, but the person the group was searching for was Tyree’s stepbrother, investigators said.
