One day after a woman's body was found at a north Fulton County hotel, Roswell police Friday announced a suspect was in custody on a parole violation warrant.

No other details, including the suspect’s name, were released because the suspect has not been charged with murder, Roswell police Officer Lisa Holland said.

But police did identify the victim as 51-year-old Beverly Carol Arnold of Roswell.

About 6 a.m. Thursday, a person heading to work spotted Arnold’s body in a second floor breezeway at the Atlanta Hotel on Old Dogwood Road, Holland said.

Investigators were called to the hotel, where they found Arnold’s body wrapped in a bed sheet with blood stains, she said.

“Investigators are continuing to investigate the death and have submitted evidence to the GBI Crime Lab for analysis,” Holland said.
