Gwinnett police on Monday released photos of men believed to have been involved in three jewelry-snatching robberies this month.

Police say that since Oct. 1, there have been three jewelry-snatching robberies with similar suspect descriptions and methods of operation. The incidents occurred at Dior Jewelers in Gwinnett Place Mall, Zales Jewelers in Sugarloaf Mills Mall, and Cash America Pawn in unincorporated Snellville.

In all three instances, one man entered the store acting as a customer and asked to see various pieces of jewelry. After looking at different items, the man snatched the jewelry and ran from the store.

In two of the robberies, a second man entered the store and acted as a lookout. Both men fled to a waiting dark blue or black passenger car driven by a third person.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Detective Watson with the Robbery Unit at 770-513-5355. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.
