Fulton County Schools Police have obtained a warrant for a man they believe is connected to the Oct. 3 shooting death at Langston Hughes High School.

Police officials are seeking 18-year-old Eric Dana Johnson Jr. in connection to the shooting that left 17-year-old Kristofer Hunter dead. The shooting occurred after a football game at the high school.

Though a student at McClarin High School in College Park, Hunter had been at Langston Hughes High’s homecoming game to reunite with friends, Channel 2 Action News previously reported.

School police are seeking assistance in locating Johnson, described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. Police say Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call local police.

The case remains under investigation, police officials said.
