A man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 41-year-old Dallas man was arrested Monday night in Cobb County, police said.
Chanz Labron McGarity, 21, of Marietta, was arrested off of Six Flags Drive in an apartment complex about 10:15 p.m., said Sgt. Bill Gorman of the Dallas Police Department. McGarity faces a charge of murder.
James Hendon was shot Saturday night near the Paulding Plaza Shopping Center, said Paulding County Sheriff's Office spokesman Cpl. Ashley Henson.
Gorman said no other individuals were directly involved in the crime.
Hendon was later taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he died.
