Looking for ways to entertain your young animal lover this summer? PAWS Atlanta is offering educational and interactive summer camps for kids 8 to 13 years old.

Focusing on humane education, campers will explore the relationship between humans and animals and leave with a sense of responsibility towards all living creatures and a solid education of responsible pet ownership.

PAWS Atlanta PALS provides young animal lovers with the ability to share their love and appreciation of animals. A day at camp will include animal education, humane education, teambuilding, animal interaction, and lots of fun! Each camp day will include a lesson on humane education, a workshop from a veterinarian or animal expert and several hands-on lessons designed to foster a special appreciation for animals.

Camps are a week long, starting from 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The camps are being held June 16 – 20 and June 23 – 27 at PAWS Atlanta, 5287 Covington Highway, Decatur, GA 30035.

PAWS Atlanta is a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1966 that offers pet adoption services, low-cost vaccinations, spay and neutering, discount health preventatives, behavioral training, a pet dental clinic, a pet food bank and education through community outreach.
