A 13-year-old boy hit by two cars in Peachtree City while walking home from school remained in stable condition Saturday afternoon, a police spokesman said.

The accident took place on Ga. 54 at Peachtree Parkway Friday. The student was crossing against a red light. Charges were not expected for the drivers.

He was airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
