‘Walking Dead’ to film in Grantville

AMC’s television series “The Walking Dead” will be filming in Grantville.

Mayor Jim Sells said crews was to start shooting inside scenes Thursday, followed by outdoor scenes next week in the Coweta County community.

The Times-Herald reports that the filming will require that traffic be rerouted in downtown Grantville.

The fictional TV series follows the survivors of a zombie apocalypse as they wander in Georgia.
