Shootings happened Monday morning in Walmart SuperCenter parking lot

Fatal shooting at Oklahoma Walmart appears to be domestic-related

Three people were shot and killed in the parking lot of a Walmart in Duncan, Oklahoma, on Monday morning.

Police confirmed the fatalities to Fox 25. The suspect is among the dead, according to the Duncan Banner, though the suspect's identity has not been released.

Schools in the south central Oklahoma city were locked down Monday morning.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is handling the incident.

Police told the Duncan Banner the parking lot shootings happened about 10 a.m. CST.

The shootings happened less than 24 hours after four people were shot and six others were injured in Fresno, California, while watching football at an outdoor party.

Last week, the El Paso, Texas, Walmart where a gunman killed 22 people on Aug. 3 reopened. A permanent memorial is being built near the store in honor of the victims.
