Two people were seriously injured in an apparent hit-and-run Wednesday night in Gwinnett County.
An officer found two people in the area of Rockbridge Road and Stone Drive that appeared to have been hit by a car, according to Cpl. Jake Smith with Gwinnett police.
But there was no vehicle in the area, Smith said.
Both victims, whose names were not released, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The hit-and-run remains under investigation, Smith said.
