Rangers have located the second victim in a Monday boating accident in Pike County.

The body of 34-year-old Joseph Brian Reese of Zebulon was found Tuesday using side-scan and sector-scan sonar, then turned over to the Pike County coroner, said Mark McKinnon, public affairs officer for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources law enforcement division.

On Monday, rangers found 3-year-old Flynt Reese of Zebulon, who is believed to be the son of Joseph Brian Reese. Flynt Reese was found face down in a nearby cove, McKinnon said. He was taken to a local hospital but did not survive, McKinnon said.

Rangers had responded to a call Monday afternoon from a local fisherman about a beached boat on Still Branch Reservoir, McKinnon said in an emailed statement.
