Search on for man accused of assaulting woman in her home

The search continued Tuesday afternoon for a man accused of assaulting a woman in her Fayette County home.

A woman, whose name was not released, told investigators she returned to her Paula Drive home around 10 a.m. and found an unknown man inside, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said. The man then allegedly assaulted the woman before leaving her home on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, with dark, curly hair, the victim told police. He was last seeing wearing a hat, a black hoodie style top and black jogging style pants.
