Roswell mother stabbed during domestic dispute
A Roswell mother was in surgery Monday morning after being stabbed in what police are calling a domestic incident.
Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said officers responding to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Legacy Oaks Circle found the mother stabbed and the father unconsious.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to North Fulton Hospital with serious wounds.
Holland said in an email that the father was also take to North Fulton Hospital and was being treated “for an unknown type of poison ingestion.”
She said there were three children, ages 16, 6 and 3, at home at the time, and the oldest child ran to a neighbor’s house to call police.
The children were turned over to a relative, Holland said.
